| Certificates of Quality for antennas |
As in the case of analogue terrestrial television, antennas are required for digital terrestrial television (DVB-T) reception. Different types of antennas might be needed for reception depending on the distance to the transmission mast, the strength of the signal and the geographical of structural conditions. Antennas have to be aligned horizontally and/or vertically depending on the polarisation of the transmitter. There are four main categories of DVB-T antennas: rooftop antennas, outdoor antennas, indoor antennas and portable-mobile antennas.
