Ultra HD Explained (3rd Updated Edition, 2018)<\/h2>\n
\n

This guide brochure by the DTVP is the standard reference on Ultra HD \u2014 comprehensive, understandable, and suitable for all target groups: professionals, retailers, and consumers.<\/p>\n

On approximately 27 pages, the brochure explains what truly defines Ultra HD: not just more pixels, but better ones \u2014 through expanded color space (WCG), High Dynamic Range (HDR), and High Frame Rate (HFR). It also covers the next-generation audio experience with object-based sound, an overview of relevant logos and minimum requirements, as well as practical tips for Ultra HD reception in the living room.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n

The white paper describes the technical profiles and requirements for HbbTV devices for the market introduction of ADB2 and Targeted Advertising in Germany.
