During IBC 2025, an official liaison was agreed upon to significantly intensify exchange and collaboration on important industry topics such as accessibility or DVB-I. The liaison accelerates the future work of the teams on both sides and provides an excellent basis for all market participants when introducing new standards and technologies in Germany and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks to the liaison, information, evaluations, and comments can now be made available to each other to refer to specific specifications and enable their implementation. Furthermore, documents such as commercial requirements from DVB&#8217;s Commercial Module and technical minimum requirements from the DTVP AGs can be exchanged for information, evaluation, and commentary.<\/p>\n<p>For example, the German TV Platform supports DVB&#8217;s Accessibility Task Force in developing a reference manual that examines how accessibility features are implemented in different regions and on different platforms.
