Implementation Profile for DVB-I in Germany
Binding specification for the introduction of DVB-I in the German market | Meta: V.1.0, English
The profile defines the technical requirements for the implementation of DVB-I services — from service discovery to the program guide to the playback of linear and non-linear content. The specification is aimed at device manufacturers, platform operators, and broadcasters who want to realize DVB-I capable devices and services in Germany. The Implementation Profile V.1.0 was developed by the members of the Task Force DVB-I and is also part of the official DVB-I Book.
Announcement: The Task Force is currently working on version 1.1, which will be adopted shortly and describes additional features for the next generation of devices.
