Focus Topics 2026

What is currently being discussed.

In 2026, two major topics dominate the work of the DTVP: Artificial Intelligence in TV and Streaming — the focus of MIP #7 in Berlin and the DTVP strategy panel at ANGA COM. And DVB-I, the standard for TV reception over the internet, for which the DTVP presented the specification for the German market with the implementation profile in 2025.
