With a comprehensive brand relaunch, Deutsche TV-Plattform is opening a new chapter. At ANGA COM 2026, the completely redesigned presence went live with a new brand, new logo, and new website. “Deutsche TV-Plattform” becomes “DTVP”: a brand that is as dynamic as the industry it represents.

Deutsche TV-Plattform (DTVP) today published the DVB-I Implementation Profile for the German market. The document was developed over the past two years by the DTVP’s DVB-I Task Force.

The board of the German TV Platform has appointed Nicole Ludwig as the new Managing Director. She will take over the role on December 1, 2025, succeeding Carine Chardon, who is moving to GFU Consumer & Home Electronics GmbH after 17 years.

In 2025, 4.8 million TV sets were sold. This represents an increase of 3.2 percent compared to 2024 (nearly 4.7 million). This is according to the current CE Industry Compass by ZVEI and Deutsche TV-Plattform in cooperation with NIQ.
