MEDIENTAGE München 2026
From October 21 to 23, the national and international media landscape will gather in Munich for the 40th time. Under the motto “Own it!”, #MTM40 calls on the media industry to shape its own future: with the courage to embrace digital sovereignty, technological independence, and a new sense of self-confidence.
DTVP is an association partner of #MTM40 and can offer its members a 10% discount on congress tickets.
The main venue is the House of Communication in Munich, and numerous representatives of DTVP will once again be taking part.

In total, the conference will present more than 350 speakers in over 100 panels, talks, masterclasses, and meetups at four different locations. In addition, there will be various side events and award ceremonies. The “Blauer Panther – TV & Streaming Award” will take place together with the “Nacht der Medien” on October 21, 2026, at BMW Welt in Munich. Furthermore, the International Eyes & Ears Awards will once again be held as part of the conference. The awards will be presented on October 20, the evening before #MTM40, at the ASTOR Film Lounge im ARRI.
