From September 11 to 14, the broadcast and media industry will gather at IBC in Amsterdam, the world’s leading trade show for media and technology. Also taking part: numerous DTVP members, who will showcase their innovations at their own stands, as well as DTVP Managing Director Nicole Ludwig, who will be on site to engage with the industry.

IBC is the international meeting place for the industry: Over four days, more than 45,000 trade visitors from over 170 countries will come together at RAI Amsterdam, with around 1,300 exhibitors showing where media and technology are headed.

Right in the middle of it all are numerous DTVP members presenting their innovations in Amsterdam, including Gracenote, Sony, LG, Dolby and the Media Press Group. From AI in production and live sports to new distribution channels, the topics at IBC are also the topics of the DTVP.

On Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 a.m., DTVP Managing Director Nicole Ludwig will also present the results of the work of the DTVP Sustainability Task Force as part of the Ecoflow X Assembly – Sustainability in Media event. In addition, she will use the days in Amsterdam to meet members, attend panels and engage directly with the international industry. Because what is discussed at IBC will shape the work of the DTVP in the coming year, from technical standards to the major strategic questions about the future of media.

For the DTVP, IBC is therefore less an appearance than a home game within the network: this is where people meet, and this is where the conversations begin that turn into joint projects.
