THE BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Three Benefits. One Commitment.

Co-create, know earlier, be connected: What the DTVP membership specifically provides in everyday operations.

Influence

Co-create, instead of just implementing.

Members receive early information on new technologies and standards and actively influence their introduction in the DACH region through the working groups — from implementation profiles to specifications.

Advantage

Know before the market knows.

Exclusive access to technical information and specifications before public release. Plus the synergies from working group activities, task forces, and plugfests, i.e., insights that arise from active exchange, not in finished documents.

Network

Exchange, without sales filters.

Regular professional exchange with broadcasters, platforms, manufacturers, research institutions, and authorities at expert and decision-maker level. Plus additional presence at important industry events.

Who Can Become a Member

Four Types of Membership, One Commitment.

The DTVP’s statutes distinguish four types of membership, depending on the role and contribution in the association.

Regular Members with A-Status Companies from the media industry with profit-oriented activities: manufacturers, service providers, program and content providers, broadcasters, state media authorities, network and satellite operators. Full voting rights, active participation in the working groups.
Regular Members with B-Status Associations, cooperations, and similar institutions that do not operate for profit themselves but represent profit-oriented members or institutions. Full voting rights, active participation in the working groups.
Associate Members Federal ministries, state governments, administrations, and authorities with thematic proximity to the television of the future. Advisory function without voting rights, no membership fee.
Supporting Members Companies and institutions that support the work of the DTVP through voluntary contributions or donations, without active involvement in the working groups.

How to Become a Member

We Look Forward to You.

Any natural or legal person who is willing to actively support the statutory purposes can become a member of the DTVP. Admission is via an informal application to the office. Each member appoints a delegate who represents it in the general meeting and exercises the voting right.
If you have questions about the application or admission, the office is happy to assist you.
