Head of the Working Group

Dr. Siegbert Meßmer, as Chief Technology Officer Distribution, leads the distribution at the Seven.One Entertainment Group of ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and represents the company on the board of DTVP alongside the CEO Nicole Agudo Berbel.

For many years, he has led the AG Smart Media. With his doctoral expertise in the industrial economics of digital television markets and long-standing experience in the areas of distribution, addressable TV, and streaming, he brings a rare combination of economic depth and practical broadcaster perspective to the work of DTVP.

The AG Smart Media covers a wide range of topics that reflect the complexity of smart media offerings. Recently, the Task Force Metadata delivered concrete results, developing the basic set of metadata, the genre list, and a list of usage rights in 2023.
