Deutsche TV-Plattform (DTVP) today published the DVB-I Implementation Profile for the German market. The document was developed over the past two years by the DTVP’s DVB-I Task Force.

The DVB.org competition for the best DVB-I applications has announced its winners. The DTVP was represented by its former managing director Carine Lea Chardon in the high-profile jury. The main prize goes to StreamHub for their Android app.

As part of the IBC 2025, the German TV Platform and DVB have agreed on an official liaison. The partnership intensifies collaboration on topics such as DVB-I and accessibility and creates a common basis for the introduction of new standards in Germany and Europe.
